TICRA Travel Grants

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING TICRA TRAVEL GRANTS

Due to recent events, which have caused this year's IEEE AP-S/URSI 2020 Symposium to shift to an online event, TICRA will not be providing travel grants. During the next season, please visit the IEEE AP-S/URSI 2021 website for updated information on TICRA's 2021 travel grant schedule, where applications will be accepted.

TICRA Foundation announce that they offer 3 travel grants of USD 1,000 each at the IEEE 2020 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and North American Radio Science Meeting at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Individuals who have a paper accepted for AP-S 2020 can apply for one of the travel grants.

The successful candidates will be selected based on the author’s potential or demonstrated aptitude for research. Applicants from all regions and career stages are encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements

To be considered for the travel grants, applicants must be affiliated with a university and are required to provide the following:

  • Motivational letter (max ½ page)
  • Brief resumé (max 2 pages)
  • Full conference paper
  • Copy of conference paper acceptance

As the travel grants will be given during the 2020 event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the awardees are required to make their own travel arrangements to the symposium.

Application Deadline

Submit your motivational letter, resumé, conference paper and a copy of the conference paper acceptance to aps@ticra.com with “Travel grant” in the subject line no later than 12 April 2020. Note that we do not accept .zip files and please make sure that all your attached documents are in PDF format. Successful candidates will be notified by 1 May 2020.

The selection of successful candidates will be made by a committee at TICRA.
